Our services are a safe and cost-effective alternative to hospitalization and are available to adults, 18 years of age and over, who reside in Northampton, Lehigh and surrounding counties. Referrals must be submitted by a mental health professional such as an individuals Intensive Case Manager, a Crisis Hotline worker, therapist, psychiatrist, etc. Services we offer include, but are not limited to:

Since 1995, we have been helping people through crisis. As a nonprofit organization Hope House relies heavily on the support of the community. We accept all kinds of donations including household goods, gently used or new linens and clothing, as well as food items and monetary gifts. Please click here to complete a donation form. From Route 22: Take the 191/Nazareth Pike exit. Make a right at the end of the ramp. Then make the first right on to Brodhead Rd. At the stop sign, make another right and follow straight through the stoplight, past the Northampton Community College. Continue on Hecktown Rd. Just around the sharp bend in the road, the house will be on the left.

Hope House provides short-term residential services for adults in psychiatric crisis. We offer a safe and supportive environment for people who need a place to stay until they stabilize and can safely return to the community. Our maximum capacity is eight individuals. The average length of stay is one week. Trained staff members are on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our dedicated staff of Bachelor's and Master's level professionals is focused on assisting consumers in resolving their immediate crisis and mobilizing support systems in the community for ongoing treatment and support. 

Hope House is licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is primarily funded through contracts with Magellan Behavioral Health, Northampton County MH/MR and Lehigh County MH/MR.
